Want to refine your riding skills before you head off to the Alps this summer? Or just want to improve your confidence and skills so you can enter the summer feeling good about your riding?
Then this course is for you. After the success of our winter bike fit programme we thought a little summer refresher course would be ideal for those wishing to get ready for a road trip, European vacation or even just for general riding in the awesome trail network we have right here at home
With a series of three hour sessions over 3 weeks, you'll be able to increase your fitness while working on skills at a pace that doesn't overwhelm you. Our coaches are some of the most experienced in the country and years of riding and coaching have given us great insight into what works and what doesn't. We think this format is awesome for quick and lasting progression in terms of confidence and skills gained.
Each course will have a maximum of 6 riders and will be geared towards either beginner, intermediate or advanced riders. Please read the guidance below to determine where you fit before booking.
Beginner: New to off road mountain biking, have tried greens, maybe ventured onto blue but not yet comfortable with red trails. Little or no experience of coaching.
Intermediate course: comfortable on trail centre blue and some reds but lack confidence on natural, rootier, technical terrain. Struggle with steeper terrain. Comfortable on rides of up to three hours that include a mix of climbing and descending. Successfully participated in previous beginner course.
Advanced course: Comfortable on red trail centre graded trails, have some experience of natural rooty, technical terrain but still lack confidence on steeper trails and tight corners. Participated in previous intermediate course.
Cancellation policy: Places can be cancelled up to 10 days prior to course but after that are non refundable.
