Winter Training Programme, January 6th to February 24th 2018
This 8 week programme will get you in shape for the season ahead as well as increase your skills in a progressive format that will leave you feeling bike fit and ready for the summer.
Sessions will be once a week for 8 weeks, will be 2 hours in length, with the option of either a Saturday morning or a Tuesday morning, come rain or shine. Each session will take place in the Tweed Valley with the first session being an extended session to cover general advice on training, nutrition and psychology.
We will increase the ride length and difficulty week by week covering skills relative to your riding level and terrain choice. So not only will you be getting fitter and increasing your skill level, you may well be riding routes and trails you didn’t known exist!
Whether you are working towards the racing season ahead, or simply want to increase your fitness and skills so you can enjoy the summer in the UK and beyond, this programme will help.
Open to all levels, riders will be split into groups according to ability and fitness levels to ensure the programme meets your needs. Beginners will work on basic fitness starting with shorter rides and basic skills sessions, while more experienced intermediate/advanced level riders will work on building their fitness to longer, more challenging rides while tackling some of the more advanced features that some of the wild trails have to offer. Both groups will working towards their goals with the assistance of some of the most experienced coaches in the country.
Cost: £150 for 8 weeks
In the event of sessions being postponed due to weather or sickness, they will be rescheduled for a future date.
